Whenever we go to our retreat weekends, I like to try to have something special for my table mates. This time my sister Mary and Carolyn's daughter, Amanda, will be helping us out, so I decided to make up a little candy jar for each of them.
I picked up the jars when we were in Oshawa a couple of weeks ago and I filled them with each person's favorite candy - Carolyn loves Skittles, Amanda is a jellybean person, and Mary loves peanut M&M's. Then I cut a circle of canvas, topped it with some pattern paper circles and then added a fabulous button to each!
When the candy is all gone, they will still have a decorative jar that they can store buttons, brads, floss, or any other small scrapbook item in. They will also have a sweet reminder of our weekend away.
I hope they like them!
They are such a perfect little reminder of a great weekend!
