One of the greatest pleasures in life is spending a Saturday morning at the local Farmer's Market! The sights, the sounds, the smells... it is truly a wonderfully unique experience. We are very fortunate to have a great Farmer's Market about 10 minutes from our home and this past Saturday we spent a couple of hours enjoying every part of it!
As we walked around the market, I marveled at the abundance of the food, the diversity of the people, the incredible smell of the baked goods (especially the apple fritters!), the farm fresh produce, the wares of the local artisans and the interesting talent of the street performers.
I add to my list of God's gifts the countless blessings from the market... just a few of the things I am grateful for this week...
#141. the sweetest cherries
#142. flavorful teas from around the world
#143. fresh flowers
#144. pure maple syrup
#145. food that makes your mouth water just looking at it
#146. cheese (need I say more!)
#147. apples the size of softballs
Wonderful photos Joanne!

ReplyDeleteHi Joanne,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and your sweet comment! I love visiting our farmer's market, too. It's one of my favorite things to do in summer, and something for which I am very thankful. I love your blog!
I totally agree with you. When we go to the market and see all the beautiful fresh produce at prices we can afford to pay, I feel very blessed.
