Fussy cutting is not something that I normally do, so this was a great challenge to take me out of my comfort zone. I used papers from their fabulous new line, Indie Chic, and I actually enjoyed hand cutting around all the interesting shapes!
I used a sweet photo of my girlfriend's lovable little boy and it worked so well with this collection. I also used some Mister Huey's Color Mists to give a bit of detail to the background, added some twine from MME Follow Your Heart and alphas from American Crafts.
Last, but not least, I based my layout on this sketch that I created for a challenge on the Two Scrapbook Friends Forum.

ReplyDeleteI saw the thumbnail image of this LO on the MME blog, and I clicked over to your blog to take a closer look. I love how you cut out all those medallion shapes and arranged them on your page. I also like the blue/yellow color scheme that you used. You have a great style, and I've become a follower of your blog now!
