Happy Wednesday everyone! We have a fun challenge this week at Little Red Wagon. Rosanne wants us to create something with a jar die or image.
I adore mason jars! In fact, I have a whole collection of them! I love using them for different crafts or as decorations around the house. I even use them for holding some of my scrapbooking items in my scrap space!
So, the first thing I wanted to do with this challenge was to use an actual mason jar. I thought it would be fun to fill one with candy and create a little Valentine's Day gift.
I went to the store and picked up some red and white jelly beans and filled a small jar with them. Then I created a cute little tag to go along with it. I started with a digi image of a mason jar that I printed on Kraft cardstock and then I simply added a couple of hearts and a sentiment. (I was inspired by a design I saw on the Internet - but I can't remember where I saw it.)
I tied some yummy red and white ribbon around the jar and then added the tag to the ribbon :) Now I just have to decide who to give it to...
I really hope you decide to play along this week! Be sure to link up your project on the Little Red Wagon blog - I can't wait to see what you create!
