I have a bit of catching up to do! I have a few layouts that I completed last year but I have not put on my blog yet. One of them is a layout that I created with product that was sent to me from Canadian Scrapbooker. When I agreed to be featured in their Passport to Creativity article (Winter 2012 Issue), I was asked to create a layout using an awesome collection from Studio Calico - Abroad.
This was a travel themed collection, but I didn't have any travel photos that I felt inspired to work with. Instead I used the collection with some photos of my niece, Sarah, that I took this past summer.
I titled my page "You Will Go Far" and my journaling reads: Sarah - you are such a beautiful girl and your future holds endless possibilities! Always remember to JUST BE YOU and you will go far."
I stayed true to my clean style, while at the same time I had fun with some of the embellishments.
I especially loved the wooden transportation pieces - how adorable are they! I also added a clip with some twine and I used my Dymo Label Maker (I really have to use that more often - I love it!).
Thanks for looking ~
