Little Red Wagon #220

It's Wednesday and time for another challenge from Little Red Wagon.  This week is Rosanne's turn to post the challenge and she has chosen a colour challenge.  She wants us to create something inspired by Pantone's color of the year - orchid (purple).

I decided to create a card and used my Copic markers to color this adorable image from Sassy Cheryl.


I have to begin by saying that purple is one of my least favourite colors [sorry to all the purple fans out there] and I had to dig really, really deep to find a paper in my wagon that I could work with!  I finally found this sweet dotted paper and then I started coloring the snowman to match.  It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be.  In fact, purple and I may have a newfound respect for each other!


And there you go!  My very first purple card! I hope you will join in the challenge this week and link up your card at Little Red Wagon.  We always love seeing what you create :)

I am also entering this into Sassy Cheryl's challenge - Winter Blues.  Even though my card is purple and not blue, it does have her adorable winter image on it!

    Hmmmm...don't know how much respect purple has for you since you insulted it like that. You're lucky you made such a fabulous card. Perhaps it will forgive you.
