Favorite Photo

We had Christmas dinner with Mr. B's family this past weekend at a fabulous little restaurant in the village of Buckhorn, Ontario. It was a wonderful celebration and, as usual, I took lots of photos.

I always envy the professional photographers that can play with light settings, angles, backdrops, etc. and end up with stunning photos. For me it is strictly point and shoot and sometimes I get lucky with a photo that I particularly like. Like this photo that I took at the restaurant.

Next to our table was an antique washstand and I took a picture of it with the flash turned off. Other than that it was all automatic settings. When I downloaded it to my computer, I was amazed at how gorgeous it was. I love the soft light and the monotone feel of the picture. It is definitely my favorite photo of the weekend!

  1. Isn't it amazing when that happens? But I think you are downplaying your photography skills!
