Little Red Wagon #168

Our challenge this week at Little Red Wagon is to make something with a repeated shape.  I started with a sweet little image from Sassy Cheryl that had this fabulous star and I then repeated the stars on the side of my card.

Of course I used my Copic markers to color the little guy and then I paper pieced the star.

I also used star shaped buttons on top of the die-cut stars as well as using star patterned paper!

Wow - now I am really seeing stars! I hope you join in the fun this week at Little Red Wagon!  Also, be sure to see what the other Girlfriends created for this challenge.  I am sure you will find some great inspiration as you visit their blog.

I'm sharing this on Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Thursday Blog since I used one of her images :)

  1. STELLAR card (heehee)! I love that you paper-pieced the large star and make it stick out about--adds great dimension!

  6. Oh my! is that sweet darling hanging on the star? Love your work on it. I especially like the "film strip" border around the card. Care to share how you did that....

  7. Laureen, it is actually a checked pattern paper from Fancy Pants that I used around the background. It just ended up looking like a filmstrip :)
